Xcambo

Xcambo, (Ish-cam-bo), is about 35 kilometers east of Progreso, and about a 30-minute drive from Casa Kaana. It served as an important Mayan salt trading site as early as 100 BC . The ruins are not completely excavated, but is interesting to visit as a relatively smaller site. There is also a Catholic chapel that was added to the site.
